Mommy Is Back!
I heard a car door open! I propped up my head to look out of the bedroom window and what did I see? Mommy! She’s home. I greeted her at the door jumping, yipping and yapping. Mommy looked rested and was happy to see me too. She got down on the living room floor and I know that means; play time. We both played and kissed and played and she laughed out loud. It is so hard to put into words the joy and happiness that we share when we are together. She pulled out a surprise out of her back. It’s a stuffed, squeaking, fluffy hedgehog. I really like it. I pranced around in circles with it. I would bring it to mom and throw it to her. Then I would run across to the other side of the living room and wait. Mom would throw it high in the air for me to catch. She likes to see me jump and catch in mid-air. I ran upstairs and brought down the water bottle that she left for me to play with while she was gone. I was saving it for when she came home. After all I did not feel like playing with anything when she was gone. I crunched and squished the bottle making as much noise as I could in celebration of having mommy back!
